From Rick Wesseler, the Director of the Seed Exchange:

Dear Fellow APS Members:

We want to thank all the members that have donated seed and encourage everyone to consider donating next year. Any amount of seed, cleaned or uncleaned, is greatly appreciated and may be just what another member is looking to grow in their garden!  Thank you in advance for helping to continue to make this a part of what the society has to offer members.

The exchange is open from December 15th to March 15th each year. Sorry, we cannot fill orders outside of those dates. Orders placed in December will not be shipped until after the Christmas, so they don’t get lost in the mail.

Donors – Donors may request as many packets of seed (up to 20) as they donated, free of charge. Donors are given preference for choices, when practical.

Overseas Members – May continue to request up to 10 packets free of charge. Additional packets, up to 10, may be requested with payment.

Ordering – Seed request forms will be available for order placement. Members can order up to 20 packets.

Order forms can be emailed to me at:  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Substitutions:  Some seed is very limited in quantity. We will make every effort to provide the seed, but the quantity sent may be small.  In case the seed is no longer available, please include a few substitutions on your order form.

Payment – Seed packets are $1.00 each.

Checks/Cash – Please make checks to “American Penstemon Society” and include with your request form.

Online – Mail or Email form and make payment for the total cost of the order by clicking on the 'Pay Online' link on this page. Payments can be made via PayPal or credit card.  Orders will not be processed until payment is received.
